Didirikan pada tahun 1987, PARKSON Retail Asia Limited ("PARKSON" atau "Perusahaan", dan bersama dengan anak perusahaannya, "Grup") adalah pengusaha bisnis ritel Department Store terkemuka di kawasan Asia Tenggara yang telah mendapatkan berbagai penghargaan. Saat ini, PARKSON Retail Asia telah terdaftar di Bursa Efek Singapura ("SGX-ST") pada tanggal 3 November 2011 dengan sejumlah Department Store yang menjangkau lintas kota di Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia dan Myanmar.

Perjalanan PARKSON Retail Asia Ltd dalam bisnis ritel di Indonesia dimulai dengan mengakuisisi CENTRO Department Store pada tahun 2011 di bawah naungan PT. Tozy Sentosa. Mengejar strategi merk ganda di Indonesia, jaringan CENTRO Department Store yang ada diperluas di segmen kelas menengah, dan sekaligus mengenalkan PARKSON Department Store untuk memenuhi kebutuhan segmen menengah ke atas di kota-kota besar di Indonesia.

Listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the “SGX-ST”) on 3 November 2011, Parkson’s department store count currently extends across cities in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Myanmar.

Over the last 30 years, the Group has built up a solid reputation as Southest Asia’s leading department store operator through its continuous innovation and collaboration with numerous international brands to offer consumers in the middle and upper-middle income segment a wide range of merchandise. The journey of PARKSON Retail Asia Ltd in Indonesia’s retail business begins with the acquisition of CENTRO Department Store in 2011 under PT Tozy Sentosa. Pursuing dual brand strategy in Indonesia, existing CENTRO Department Store’s network was expanded in the middle class segment, and at the same time introduced PARKSON Department Store to meet the needs of mid to middle upper segment in major cities in Indonesia.
